As I continued to work at night, I began to seek light in my paintings. As I place paint on a blank canvas, the colors gradually rise and take on a luminous quality. When I am creating everyday, the motifs I want to paint are quickly consumed, and the desire to create remains even when the things I want to paint are no longer there. What I should create when nothing comes to mind that I want to paint. What I should improvise without seeking for an image. I continue to work every day, following my primal desire to capture the light beyond my own consciousness.
